The IRRIGASC duct enables to reduce irrigation by 10 to 20 folds compared to a traditional method of irrigation.
It makes it possible to use surface groundwater in very dry regions, to water small plantations. The typical size of an IRRIGASC plantation is 80 to 100 trees.
The IRRIGASC duct leads water and nutrients deep into the soil, directly to the roots.
The duct optimizes growth in various ways:
it stimulates the growth of deep woody roots by providing the plant with water and minerals.
leads the roots deep into the soil where temperatures are more constant, which allows for a continuous growth of the roots even during dry seasons.
it makes the plants more resistant as the roots are less exposed to aggresive factors when they are in deeper soils.
it drastically reduces the loss of water by evaporation as the water is directed directly to the roots.
